If you look closely at the pictures of the Sunny Health & Fitness Pro and Pro II you’ll also notice that there’s a slight difference in the design of the handlebars between these two spin bikes, with the original Pro’s handlebars being more horizontal in design compared to the newer Pro II’s handlebars being more angled. The design of the handlebars on both bikes allow for multi-grip positions and the sturdiness of the bikes allows you to pedal while sitting or standing, i.e. you can effectively simulate different cycling postures and road conditions such as flats or hill climbing.
Both the Sunny Health & Fitness Pro and Pro II’s handlebars are height adjustable and the saddle on both indoor cycles is both height adjustable and forward/backward adjustable for a custom fit for different riders. The saddle on the Pro II is slightly larger than the original Pro (10.5” long x 7.75” wide x 3” deep compared to 10” long x 6” wide x 2.5” deep) and the distance between the seat and handlebars and between the seat and pedals differs between these two spin bikes, allowing for a slightly different reach and inseam length range as follows:
· Handlebar to seat range: Pro: 17.5” – 22” / Pro II: 16” – 20.5”
· Inseam length range: Pro: 30” – 42” / Pro II: 28” – 41”
Additional features of both the Sunny Health & Fitness Pro and Pro II Indoor Cycling bikes include: heavy duty frame and crank system; cage pedals (can easily be swapped out for pedals of your own if preferred such as clip-in); adjustable stabilizers for leveling on uneven floors; and front-mounted transport wheels for easy relocation.
Sturdily and durably constructed, both the Sunny Health & Fitness Pro and Pro II Indoor Cycles allow for a maximum user weight capacity of 275 lbs.
There’s a slight difference in the overall dimensions and bike weight between these two Sunny Health & Fitness spin bikes, with the newer Pro II having a slightly larger footprint overall:
· Approx. Dimensions/weight: Pro: 46.5” long x 18” wide x 46” high (97 lbs) / Pro II: 49.5” long x 20” wide x 49” high (101 lbs)
Being the newer spin bike, the Sunny Health & Fitness Pro II also comes with a better warranty of 3 year structural frame / 180 days parts & components compared to the 1 year frame / 90 days parts warranty on the original Pro.
