Nautilus T618 vs T616 vs T614 Treadmills, Comparison Review

The Nautilus T618, T616 and T614 Treadmills are all well-built treadmills with lots of features to keep your workouts varied and challenging.

The Nautilus T618 is the higher-end treadmill over the T616 and T614.  Part of Nautilus’ Performance Range, the T618 is designed to withstand high-intensity training, making it suitable for the more serious athlete.

The T616 sits in the middle of Nautilus’ treadmill range, while the T614 is Nautilus’ entry-level treadmill which actually ranks way higher compared to many other entry-level treadmills on the market today.


Being the top-of-the-range treadmill, the T618 offers numerous premium features and upgraded design over the T616 and T614, including a more powerful motor at 3.5 chp, better deck cushioning system, larger 2.75” crowned rollers, higher maximum user weight capacity of 350 lbs, better console with STN display (best in the fitness industry with a wider viewing angle and better visual colors), In-Reach remote controls in the handlebars, towel rail and accessory bar.  (See full features and specifications compared in the tables below.)

Compared to the T614, the Nautilus T618 and T616 both offer more programs (26 compared to 22), more incline range (0-15% compared to 0-12%), a longer running surface (60” compared to 55”) and more user profiles (4 compared to 2).

The T618 and T616 also both offer Bluetooth connectivity for seamless transition of workout data to online fitness tracking apps.  Although the T614 does not have Bluetooth connectivity, it does have a USB port with which you can transfer data.

The Nautilus T618, T616 and T614 Treadmills all offer a speed range between 0 and 12 mph.  Motivating stats displayed on the dual blue-backlit screens on all consoles include time, speed, distance, calories burned and heart-rate.  All 3 treadmills offer both contact pulse and telemetry-enabled heart-rate monitoring.

The Nautilus T614 is Nautilus’ lower-range treadmill, yet is sturdily built and packed with features that rival many of the more expensive treadmills.

The Nautilus T614 Treadmill has a generous-sized running belt that’s 20” wide and 55” long to accommodate different stride lengths.  The running deck features StrikeZone Cushioning (4 hex cell) which helps to reduce the impact on your joints, allowing you to workout for longer in comfort.

The Nautilus T614 Treadmill utilizes large 2.5” crowned rollers which ensures smooth running of the belt and quiet operation.

The Nautilus T614’s console is easy to use and features a large 3” by 5” high-resolution blue backlit LCD screen which displays motivating workout stats as you exercise including time, speed, distance, calories burned and heart rate.

The T614 features contact pulse grip heart-rate sensors and is also telemetry enabled for a wireless heart-rate chest strap (strap not included) for more accurate heart-rate monitoring and to help you reach and stay within your target heart-rate zone.

The Nautilus T614 Treadmill allows for 2 user profiles which means that 2 different people can use the treadmill and keep track of their own workout stats.  There’s also a USB port which enables you to export your data to Nautilus Connect or My Fitness Pal for online fitness tracking.  The USB port can also be used to charge your USB devices such as a mobile phone or tablet.
