See what some people who have bought the Octane Fitness xR4x Recumbent Elliptical Trainer have to say about it::
C.Q.:
“I found the Octane xR4x very comfortable to use and easy to get started on. The difficulty level ranges from extremely easy (which was what I needed to start) to very hard (and I’m still not at the maximum). The xR4x is a great machine, allowing you concentrate on various muscle groups or alternate them randomly. You can use the Workout Boosters for interval training on all the major muscles/areas of the body. It’s easy on the knees and joints as it’s low-to-no impact. I went from 270 lbs to 160 lbs in 6 months and have kept the weight off. I’ve been using this for around 60 minutes a day and the machine has held up nicely. This is the smallest machine of this type I could find which is important for me living in an apartment. I’ve also encouraged my Mom (77 years old) to use this machine along with her rehab for shoulder exercises.”
R.C.:
“We wanted a machine that was low-impact and a small footprint for home use. This is it and we can’t say enough good things about it. We’re both in our 60s and don’t like the impact of traditional standing machines. Bad knees, back and neck are no problem with this machine (we’ve had treadmills in the past and they are hard on your knees, back and ankles) . You can workout as easy or as hard as you want to and watch TV while you’re exercising. The Octane xR4x is sturdily built and high quality. Best money we’ve spent. We love it.”
N.B. It’s advisable to consult your doctor or health care professional before undertaking any new exercise regime.
