Comparing ProForm Cardio HIIT Trainer Pro versus ProForm Cardio HIIT Trainer, What's the Difference?

Uniquely designed, the ProForm Cardio HIIT Trainer Pro and Cardio HIIT Trainer are a cross between a stair stepper and an elliptical trainer and offer a much more effective and intensive workout compared to a standard elliptical.

The ProForm Cardio HIIT Trainer Pro and Cardio HIIT Trainer have a smaller footprint than an elliptical trainer so take up less space and feature a higher vertical climbing path to work more leg/lower body muscles in combination with moving handlebars that work your arms/upper body.

5" horizontal elliptical path
Both the ProForm Cardio HIIT Trainer Pro and Cardio HIIT Trainer feature oversized cushioned foot pedals with a 10” vertical climbing path and 5” horizontal elliptical path, while the moving handlebars feature multi-position grips to work more upper body muscles.

Both Cardio HIIT Trainers utilize a silent magnetic resistance system (SMR) which provides smooth and quiet operation.

The ProForm Cardio HIIT Trainer Pro is the premium machine over the ProForm Cardio HIIT Trainer and utilizes a heavier inertia-enhanced flywheel (30 lbs compared to 28 lbs), more resistance levels (26 compared to 24) and more preset workout programs (34 compared to 32).

The ProForm Cardio HIIT Trainer Pro also comes with a better console that has a 10” full-color HD Smart touch-screen display while the standard Cardio HIIT Trainer console features a 7” blue-backlit LED display.  Both consoles display motivating workout stats as you exercise including time, speed, distance, intensity, calories burned and heart-rate.

The First Degree Fitness Newport AR Water Rower has been designed to simulate a true rowing on water experience, delivering the feel and sound of water-rowing.

As you row with the Newport, you can hear a light and soothing “whooshing” sound from the water tank just like the sound of real water rowing.

The design of the Newport AR’s multiple chambered ribbed internal tank and triple-bladed impeller system ensures a natural and jerk-free “catch” as you begin rowing.

Rowing action with the First Degree Fitness Newport Rower is smooth, fluid and quiet thanks to its belt-drive pulley system with 1” nylon strap and bungee cord which is designed to retain constant tension and recoil action, while the ergonomic handle helps to prevent strain on your hands, wrists and arms.  The seat runs smoothly along a concealed track on precision bearings and Delrin low-friction rollers.

The natural resistance of the water in the Newport AR’s tank enables you to self-regulate the intensity of the resistance just like with real water rowing, i.e. the harder you row, the more intense the resistance becomes.  In addition, you can alter the amount of water between the inner and outer chamber via a simple-to-use dial to change the overall resistance level.  This unique system makes the Newport AR Rower ideal for both beginners and more advanced athletes.

Not all rowing machines come with a fitness monitor so it’s great to see that First Degree Fitness have included a multi-level monitor with the Newport AR Rower, enabling you to keep track of your workout stats as you exercise.
