Bowflex E216 Elliptical Trainer |
Bowflex E116 Elliptical Trainer |
Summary:
Both the Bowflex E216 and E116 Elliptical Trainers are high quality machines, built for intensive training for serious athletes. As you can see from the tables above, the main differences between these 2 elliptical trainers comes down to the weight of the flywheel and the amount of programs and resistance levels each machine offers. The weight of the flywheel is more than adequate on both machines but generally speaking the heavier the flywheel weight, the more smooth and consistent the momentum will be.
Although there are cheaper machines on the market, the old saying “you get what you pay for” is worth heeding and the Bowflex E216 and E116 are definitely worth investing in for their long-term durability, premium features and ergonomic comforts.
